COUNSELING

Julie Thatcher, MA, EdS, LMHCA

Licensed mental health therapist in West Seattle specializing in trauma therapy, EMDR therapy, and relationship counseling for individual adults, teens, and couples. I bring a rich background in academic and research administration, teaching, and student support, along with deep experience in culturally responsive counseling across diverse populations.

I am skilled in trauma-informed care and EMDR therapy for healing from past experiences, as well as couples counseling based in Relational Life Therapy (RLT) to help partners strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and create deeper connection. My approach integrates evidence-based methods with warmth, curiosity, and respect, offering both in-person sessions in West Seattle and online therapy throughout Washington State.

With proven experience developing and implementing effective programs, supervising multidisciplinary teams, and fostering inclusive environments, I bring a collaborative, strengths-based perspective to every client relationship.
